The workers said they experienced dizziness, eye irritation and nausea while doing repairs on an oil processing unit that had been out of use since Hurricane Rita in 2005, Texas City emergency management coordinator Bruce Clawson said. The first two workers who said they were ill were working in an enclosed part of the unit around 9:30 p.m., he said.
